Whooping or Punishment?!

Kill or be Killed.
Drink or be Shot.

The Golden Age of Piracy was a tough time to be alive. The punishment and torture usually led to death but in a way I defend it. Now hold on, before ya'll start to judge me, let's think about it. How many times has your parents asked you, "do you want the whooping or punishment?"?
My thoughts exactly. Expect our parents didn't beat us to death, BUT, it taught a lesson. That's the point i'm trying to make. This all taught a lesson. Some of the greatest things that you know came from a lesson taught whether or not the stimulus was abuse.
For this time and era though, your life just had to end, point blank. Captains had pirates codes and revised ones and still went against and still had there crew. Why? Because the crew was scared to death to go against anyone they knew could end their life. We had Low boiling lips and feeding them to the owner and he still had a crew. Punishment and Torture is what set the standards. You couldn't teach a lesson if you couldn't punish, you couldn't lead a ship if you didn't have a little torture in your mind. It was survival of the strongest and also a warning sign. Even in villages and towns, when a crime or wrong action was committed, oh best believe, there was going to be punishment brought amongst that person. I defend it because it's still used today. the lethal injection, even though I disagree with it, sometimes that torture has to happen. 22 to life in jail.... that punishment has to happen sometimes. If we didn't punish or anything, i'm not sure what would happen. Either we'd be hugging trees or just become savage.

Where do I began?...

Captain Morgan is famous for having varies tales of his life. One would think all stories would be the same, but someone's life is just like a game of Telephone, it'll always change.
Captain Morgan started off as a poor little farm boy or was he just a child of royalty?... hmm... makes one think. A story in the book Pirates and Buccaneers, the author painted a picture in my head that led me to believe that Morgan was slaughtering people and using them as shields. He had me thinking he was quick on his feet to come up with the idea to "build" a latter DURING a fight. And that sending messages back and fourth to your enemy was cool as long as gifts were traded along with it. Well my friend, after reading Under the Black Flag, I for one know the truth, at least some of it.
Morgan was more humble so to say, he never used people as shields and actually didn't even shoot a lot of bullets. And the latter, pshhh... It was sitting to the side of them, he just said pick it up and use it. He did indeed though write letters back and fourth to his enemy but didn't wear a gold ring that was "so called" given to him. One can say Captain Morgan was a very smart man. He had strategies in his head as obsticles came and went. Anyways, fact or fiction. what happened is what happened, but how is different from every story.

THERE'S A WOMAN ON THE SHIP! SEIZE HER!!!!

Okay, yea... no. It didn't go down like that at all. which is actually surprising. Let's think on this. Woman have boobs, men don't, so can someone please tell me how they did not know these folks were women?! I took a little trip to find out. i need you to visualize this okay. close your.... wait, no you still have to read. well close your ears from everything and read up.

There I was, climbing out of my time machine, which dated 1970. A ship was approaching the shore I was on so i hid. A pirate ship it was! I had heard and read so much about pirates that I had to get a closer look. Then I noticed that one of the pirates had boobs. Yes i said it, boobs. And they were just hanging out all free. She wore men clothes and boots and even walked around like one. She scared me. I found some clothes lying around near the boat, changed, and hopped aboard. The ship was aweful, like "I think i'm going to be sick." aweful. After hiding from people and watching all that free water, I had to pee. I found a small dark area to squat in when suddenly someone comes in the same spot! It was the woman-man from earlier. Quickly, she punches me in the face and demands a fight. I stagger back, holding my nose that is bleeding now, and shout, "Please no!, I'm a female as well, I just wanted to pee without being seen!" She lowers her guard and laughs, Apologizing for being so aggressive. "To hide me identity I must be taught and ready to fight, like they are." she said as she did her business in front of me. She told me of how her family dressed her as a boy for money purposes and she ran off to be a pirate. Needless to say, I followed her like a baby duck until we reached the next shore. 

OKAY! open your ears. This scenario could've been legit true if I indeed had a time machine. And if I did i would really have to get back to it lol

I'm a 25 yr old mother of a 3 yr old baby boy. I'm balancing a full-time job, being in school full-time and being a full-time mommie. So I didnt picture going back to college, I tried it once back in 2009 at Valdosta State.... Why didn't I finish then??? Idk lol.
I'm a homebody. I like being at home. I love eating. I love anime. Fav has to be One Piece, hints the reason I'm in this class really lol. Next is Black Butler but don't judge me, Sebastian is my dude!.
I'm Korean and Black. And i'm literally a mix of how special my parents can be... lol. and so is my son. I'm an IT major. I actually love computers and technology but this blog stuff is kinda hard to figure out. But I take it people like to write about random stuff all day. uhhhhhh... not sure what else to say about myself. This is my baby today right after the dentist appt <3
